I am a graduate student at Indiana University in the Instructional Systems Technology program. I reside near Tampa, Florida where I work full-time (+) for a community college and live with my two cats and boyfriend (yes, in that order).
I am currently enrolled in FIL 5810: Transmedia Story Creation at the University of Central Florida. This blog is a requirement for that course and is the first time I have used this form of media as an author. I also have a course at Indiana this summer; R505 Portfolio Development, which is a course that requires participant to complete an online portfolio for the job they wish to have. Think of it as an online visual thesis.
Besides working full-time and taking graduate classes I also am working towards a fitness and weight loss goal at a local gym.
Interests: Before I started grad school I used to like to read for pleasure and watch movies and lay around on the couch watching TV. I also like to travel, arts and crafts architecture, visual technology, cooking, and I am learning how to make furniture. I have a long standing love of photography and I have a rapidly developing interest in visual technology.
